Here we see a giant pair of floating scissors, the symbolism should be obvious. The reason I took this shot however is the Labour party branch banner in the bottom left. The man on the banner (You may have to enlarge) is Robert Tressell author of one of my favourite works The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists.
Okay, I'm confused. If you're all anarchists, which means you're against government, why are you against government cuts? As an anarchist, wouldn't you want the government to be cut?
What on earth are you talking about? Anarchists aren't even in this photo, I see an National Union of Teachers float and a local Labour party branch banner, and some Coalition of Resistance placards. I think you commented on the wrong photo.
Actually I think I see the problem here, ignore what I said above. This wasn't an Anarchist march it was a Trade Union led march. Anarchist groups attended it as they oppose governments and in particular governments that enact policies exclusively for the wealthy and privileged, like the current ConDem coalition. As a percentage Anarchists make up a small minority of people on these sorts of things.
